We may collect the following types of personal information:

Usage Information: To optimize your experience, we may record how, when, and how frequently you use this software.

Recording and Audio Data: To provide the core services of the AI meeting assistant, we need to obtain the meeting audio data you record using your microphone. The recording data will be uploaded to the server for speech recognition, transcription, and AI summarization processing.

Meeting Content: To generate AI-generated meeting minutes, summaries, and to-do list extractions, we will process the meeting audio content you upload or record in real time, including transcribing the original text and AI-generated summaries.

Dialogue translation data: To provide dialogue translation functionality, we may obtain your input voice or text content, perform real-time recognition and translation processing, and return the translation results.

Image Information: To provide the photo translation function, we need to obtain the pictures you take with your camera or select from your album, and perform OCR text recognition and translation processing.

Translation content: To provide accurate translation results, we may obtain your input text, translation results, and voice input.

Log information: To ensure software stability, we may record the date and time of use, including usage time, operation records, and information when the software crashes.

Obtain clipboard information: In conversation translation/photo translation/text translation services, we may call the device's clipboard information to quickly display and paste the recognition/translation results you need.

Location information: We may obtain location information to search for nearby Bluetooth devices only when connecting Bluetooth devices, in order to improve connection speed and user experience.

Precise location information: When you use location-based features (such as localized translation services or region-specific features), we may obtain your precise location information via GPS or network signals to provide a more accurate service experience.

Device identification information: Includes unique device identifiers such as the Android ID from the Android system. Used solely for the following purposes:

① Anonymize crash analysis and optimize performance using third-party tools (such as Tencent Bugly), and retain data for no more than 30 days.

② We will not use it for user profiling or link it with other data.

③ Device unique identifier (Android ID, etc.), device model, operating system version, and crash logs.

④ To ensure service stability, we may collect unique device identifiers through third-party tools (such as Tencent Bugly). This information is only used for anonymization analysis and performance optimization and will not be associated with your personal identity.

Device hardware and software information: including but not limited to device brand (e.g., Xiaomi), device model (e.g., M2101K9C), manufacturer, system region setting, system version, screen resolution, network type, etc. This information is collected for:

① Functional adaptation: Optimize interface display, interaction logic, and functional compatibility according to different device models and system characteristics;

② Problem Diagnosis and Repair: Precisely locate and repair abnormal behaviors or crashes occurring on specific device models;

③ User experience improvement: Analyze device distribution and optimize resource allocation and service support strategies.

Bluetooth device connectivity: When connecting Bluetooth devices, we may obtain rough location information (such as via Wi-Fi or mobile networks) to search for nearby Bluetooth devices and improve connection efficiency.

Software installation list: This is used to easily share translated text/invitation links. We may access the software installation list of the device.

Bluetooth Information: If you allow this software to access Bluetooth functionality, we may collect information about your Bluetooth devices to provide better services and features.

Sensor list: We may collect sensor data from your device, including but not limited to:

① Bluetooth Low Energy devices

② Bluetooth headset

③ Accelerometer: Used to detect the device's orientation and motion status (such as switching between portrait and landscape modes) to optimize application interface display and user experience.

1.1 Purpose, Method, and Scope of Sensor Information

Purpose: We collect sensor information to provide enhanced user experience and functionality, such as:

① Real-time monitoring

② Data Analysis

③ Personalized services, etc.

④ Optimize interface adaptation: Adjust the application interface layout according to the device orientation (such as landscape or portrait screen).

Method: Sensor information is collected automatically through sensors on your device; you do not need to input it manually.

Scope: We only collect sensor data relevant to the functionality of this software and do not collect unnecessary sensor information. For example, accelerometer data is only used to detect the physical orientation and motion of the device and will not be used to continuously track your fine movements.

1.2 Data Usage

Provides core services: Process your input text, voice, and recording data via API and return the processing results (such as AI meeting minutes, translation results, etc.).

Optimize service performance: Analyze data to improve speech recognition algorithms, AI summarization quality, and translation experience.

Troubleshooting: Used to diagnose and resolve technical problems.

1. Access Permissions

The application may require the following access permissions:

① Microphone Permission: Allows the program to use the microphone for recording, which is used for core functions of the AI meeting assistant such as meeting recording and real-time transcription, and voice input for dialogue translation.

② Storage permissions: Allows the program to read and write to the storage space to save data such as meeting recordings, AI meeting minutes, and translation records.

③ Access camera permissions: Allow the program to use the camera function for the photo translation function, which recognizes and translates text in images.

④ Access to the photo album: The application needs to access the photo album to allow the user to select the image to upload. The uploaded image is used for OCR recognition and translation in the photo translation function.

⑤ Precise Location Permission: Allows the application to obtain your precise geographical location via GPS or network signals for Bluetooth device search. This permission is only enabled when you actively use the relevant function.

⑥ Bluetooth permission: Used to connect to external hardware such as Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth translation devices to support functions such as headset mode and multi-device collaboration.

1. App Integration with Third-Party SDK Catalog

To ensure the implementation of Yi Recorder's functions and the secure and stable operation of the application, we may integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) for related purposes. We will conduct rigorous security monitoring on the software development kits (SDKs) used by our partners to obtain information in order to protect data security.

Third-party name: Alipay App Client SDK (com.alipay.sdk)

Purpose of use: For Alipay payment, mPaaS, Sesame Credit authentication and real-person authentication.

Function type: payment processing and identity authentication.

Personal information involved: payment information, user identifier.

Third-party name: WeChat OpenSDK Android (com.tencent.mm.opensdk)

Purpose of use: To provide users with WeChat Pay functionality.

Function type: Payment processing.

1. Information Use

We collect your personal information in order to provide, maintain, and improve our AI meeting assistant and translation services. We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

It provides AI meeting assistant services, including real-time meeting recording, speech-to-text transcription, AI meeting minutes generation, meeting summaries, and to-do list extraction.

It provides dialogue translation services, including real-time speech recognition and translation, and multilingual dialogue translation.

We offer photo translation services, including image OCR recognition and multilingual translation.

Maintaining and improving our software services, such as detecting and resolving technical issues.

Location-based service optimization: Utilize precise location information to optimize the localization of translation results, such as providing regional dialect translations or culture-related suggestions.

We will not permanently store your text and audio data; they will only be used for real-time processing or historical queries (except for data that you may choose to save). You have the right to access, modify, or delete the data we collect about you.

Service stability monitoring: Device identification information (Android ID) is collected through third-party SDKs (such as Tencent Bugly) to diagnose crash causes and optimize application performance, and will not be used for user profiling or associated with other data.

We analyze usage data to improve our software services and provide a better user experience.

1. Information Sharing

We will not sell, rent, or lend your personal information to any third party. We may share your personal information with the following types of third parties:

③ Security: We may share your personal information with third parties as required by law or as technically necessary to protect our rights, property or safety.

④ Data sharing and transmission: Your audio recordings, meeting transcripts, and image content will be transmitted via API to the servers of third-party service providers for speech recognition, AI processing, OCR recognition, and translation.

1. Instructions for Auto-Start or Associated Startup

Push notification related:

To ensure this application can receive push notifications from clients even when it is closed or running in the background, it must use the (auto-start) capability. This involves a certain frequency of system broadcasts to wake the application for auto-start or associated startup, which is necessary for functionality and service implementation. When you open a content-based push notification, you will be redirected to that content with your explicit consent. Without your consent, there will be no associated startup.

Download related information:

When you download files within this app (such as in-app version update notifications), the app handles HTTP connections based on download status and monitors status changes and system restarts to ensure each download task is completed successfully. This is especially important when the user switches to different apps and downloads need to continue in the background (there may be background processes that start automatically), and when the download task is successfully completed, the app obtains the APK file for installation.

1. Information Protection

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our measures include the use of encryption, access control, and authentication.

Data transmission is encrypted using TLS 1.3+.

Performance monitoring and troubleshooting: To ensure service stability, we may collect anonymized device information and crash logs through third-party tools (such as Tencent Bugly). This data is only used for technical analysis and will not be associated with your personal identity.

Audio recording processing: Your meeting audio recordings will be encrypted during the AI transcription process and uploaded to the cloud. Once processed, the original audio data will be handled according to our data retention policy. AI meeting minutes and translations that you actively save are stored in your account and can be viewed, exported, or deleted at any time.

8. Account Cancellation

We respect your control over your account. If you decide to discontinue using the Yi Recorder service and wish to delete your account and related personal information (except as required by laws and regulations), you can cancel your account through the following methods:

Cancellation methods:

You can cancel your account within the Yi Recorder APP. Please go to "My" → "Account" → "Cancel Account" to do so.

If you encounter any difficulties during the cancellation process, you can also contact us for assistance through the customer service email address provided at the end of this policy.

Authentication:

To ensure your account security and prevent unauthorized operations, we may need to verify your identity before you cancel your account (for example, by asking you to enter the verification code received on your registered mobile phone number, your login password, or to perform other security verifications).

Processing time:

After you submit your account cancellation request and pass identity verification, we will complete the cancellation process within one business day. Once completed, your account may be temporarily inaccessible, and the personal information linked to that account (unless otherwise stipulated by law or we have a legitimate reason to retain it) will be deleted or anonymized.

Consequences of account cancellation: Account cancellation is an irreversible process. Once cancellation is successful:

① You will no longer be able to log in to the Yi Recorder APP with this account.

② All service data, historical records, and personal information (such as avatar, nickname, and linked third-party account information, except for those required to be retained by laws and regulations) under this account will be deleted.

③ You may not be able to retrieve any content or information under this account (including saved meeting recordings, AI meeting minutes, translation records, etc.).

④ Your membership benefits, points, coupons, etc. under this account will also be deleted and cannot be recovered.

⑤ After your account is cancelled, you may need to register again to use our services again.

Exception Notes:

In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, or in necessary circumstances such as handling disputes or cooperating with regulatory investigations, we may need to retain some of your personal information (such as transaction records, log information, etc.) for a period of time. This information will be stored and used in accordance with legal requirements, and will be deleted or anonymized after the statutory retention period expires.

1. Other Terms and Conditions

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect our practices and services. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to understand how we protect your personal information.

User controls: You can turn off microphone, location, storage and other permissions at any time in the device settings, but some core functions may be restricted or unavailable.

Payment SDK: Collects payment information to complete payment transactions.

You need to actively check the box to agree before you can continue using the service.

User Consent and Authorization Mechanism: We strictly adhere to the "notification-consent" principle. When you first launch the application or use related functions for the first time, we will clearly explain the types of personal information that need to be collected, their purpose, and the third-party SDKs involved through a clear pop-up prompt. We and the relevant third-party SDKs will only begin collecting and using your personal information after you click "Agree" or check the corresponding options. No personal information (including but not limited to device information, location information, microphone recording data, etc.) will be collected before you explicitly consent. You can turn off or modify specific permissions at any time in the application permission settings of your device, but this may cause some functions to malfunction.
