Welcome to the World Freetalk APP service of Yiyitong (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we") . We are committed to providing users with the best translation experience and take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. This policy applies to Android, Hongmeng, and other compatible operating systems. In HarmonyOS NEXT , we follow its privacy standards and use the anonymized OpenHarmony Identifier (OHID) instead of Android ID as the device identifier. In HarmonyOS NEXT, we strictly adhere to its privacy standards and completely replace traditional device identifiers (such as Android ID) with the anonymized OpenHarmony Identifier (OHID). OHID cannot be linked to an individual's identity and is only used within the scope of necessary services.

Types of Information Collected

We may collect the following types of personal information:

Usage information : To optimize your experience, we may record how, when, and how often you use the translation software.
Translation content : To provide accurate translation results, we may obtain the text you input, translation results, and voice input.
Log information : To ensure software stability, we may record the date and time of use, as well as information when the software crashes.
Obtaining clipboard information : In voice translation/voice recognition/text translation services, we may call the device's clipboard information to quickly display and paste the recognition/translation results you need.
Location information : Only when connecting to a Bluetooth device, we may obtain location information to search for nearby Bluetooth devices to improve connection speed and user experience.
Software installation list : used to conveniently share translation text/invitation links. We may access the device's software installation list.
Bluetooth information : If you allow this software to access the Bluetooth function, we may collect your Bluetooth device information to provide better services and functions.
Sensor List : We may collect sensor data from your device, including but not limited to:
① Low-power Bluetooth devices
②Bluetooth headset
We only access Bluetooth sensors (not geolocation sensors) when a Bluetooth device is connected to scan for nearby devices. We do not access sensors not related to functionality, such as the accelerometer and gyroscope.
Camera permission : Allows the app to use the camera function for photo translation and video call scenarios

Purpose, method and scope of sensor information

Purpose : We collect sensor information to provide enhanced user experience and features, such as

① Real-time monitoring

②Data analysis

Method : Sensor information is collected automatically through sensors on your device and does not require manual input from you.
Scope : We only collect sensor data related to the functionality of this software and do not collect unnecessary sensor information.

Purpose, method, and scope of calling camera permissions

Purpose : To realize the photo translation function and video call scenarios .
Method : By requesting user authorization to access the camera.
Scope : Camera permissions are only used when the user uses the photo translation function and video calls .

Access Rights

Permission Description:

①Call camera permission : Allow the app to use the camera function for photo translation and video call scenarios

② Call album permission : Allow the program to read pictures in the user's album so that users can select pictures to upload for photo translation

③ Distributed device discovery permission : When users use the cross-device translation collaboration function, they need to apply for Hongmeng's distributed permission to discover nearby devices.

④ OHID access instructions: OHID is only used for service stability statistics (such as crash analysis) and is not bound to the user account.

In the Harmony system, Tencent Bugly uses OHID instead of IMEI/Android ID for device identification, and the scope of other data collection is the same as that of the Android side.

We collect your personal information in order to provide, maintain, and improve our translation software services. We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

Provides translation services, including identifying languages and translating text.
Maintain and improve our translation software services, such as detecting and resolving technical issues.
Analyze usage to improve our translation software services and provide a better user experience.
To contact you, such as to send service announcements, technical updates, or marketing materials.

We will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties. We may share your personal information with the following types of third parties:

① Service Providers: We may cooperate with third parties to provide translation software services, and these third parties may have access to your personal information.

②Legal requirements: We may disclose your personal information as required by law or government.

③ Security: We may share your personal information with third parties as required by law or technical necessity to protect our rights, property or safety.

Self-start or associated startup instructions

Push related:

To ensure that this app can normally receive broadcast information pushed by the client when it is closed or running in the background, this app must use the (self-start) capability. There will be a certain frequency of system broadcasts to wake up this app for self-start or related startup behavior. This is necessary for the implementation of functions and services. When you open a content push message, after obtaining your explicit consent, you will be redirected to open the relevant content. Without your consent, no related startup will occur.

This application uses WorkScheduler in the HarmonyOS system to manage background download tasks, strictly follows the HarmonyOS background scheduling strategy, and only executes tasks when system resources are sufficient to avoid power consumption.

The Hongmeng system centrally manages the push channel (Push Kit), and we will not independently run resident background processes.

When you download files within this app (such as in-app version update notifications), we handle HTTP connections based on the download status and monitor connection status changes and system restarts to ensure that each download task is successfully completed. In particular, when the user switches between different apps and the download needs to continue in the background (background processes may be started automatically), and when the download task is successfully completed, obtain the APK file for installation.

Information Protection

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. The measures we implement include the use of encryption technology, access control and authentication.

Performance monitoring and troubleshooting :
To ensure service stability, we may collect anonymized device information and crash logs through third-party tools (such as Tencent Bugly). Such data is only used for technical analysis and will not be associated with your personal identity.
